Bearing Selection Requirements
From the perspective of long life, bearing selection requirements are:
(1) select the bearing model with high load capacity
Bearing selection should take into account the price of bearings, or use higher load capacity but more expensive bearings, or use ordinary bearings and try to extend their life.
USES a high load capacity of bearing, such as crown of cylindrical roller bearing, spherical roller bearing with symmetrical roller, reinforced taper roller bearing and ball bearing, ball groove busbar revised ball bearings, or replace with 70000 CD series bearing deep groove single-row radial ball bearing, these have high load capacity of bearing or improve the stress distribution state, or because of the more the number of rolling element may have higher fatigue life.
(2) select the appropriate bearing size
In order to make the bearing size appropriate, it is necessary to accurately calculate or actually check the bearing load, speed and operating temperature.
Load has the greatest impact on bearing life, so load is the most difficult to measure but as accurate as possible.When the load measurement is difficult, the actual consumed power of the motor can be measured, and the power loss along the drive route can be calculated and deducted until the bearing load is close to the actual load.If the calculated or measured load is too large, the expected fatigue life of the bearing will inevitably decrease by a greater extent and must be remedied.If the mounting position allows, the optional size of the larger gear bearing;If radial dimensions are limited, wider bearings should be selected if wider bearings are available.If a wider bearing is not available, a bearing with a higher load carrying capacity can be used.
(3) select appropriate bearing materials
Bearing materials should also take into account its price, and when the use of vacuum smelting or electroslag remelting steel, we must pay attention to the lubrication conditions must be perfect, in order to increase the bearing's expected fatigue life.Of course, it is much more expensive to choose the needle roller bearing made of this kind of high-quality steel than to choose the bearing with higher load capacity. However, it is still necessary to consider to use the bearing which is difficult to be accessible in the machine and extremely difficult to assemble and disassemble, or the bearing used in the operating machinery in the mine or tunnel when maintenance is extremely difficult.
